5.7.1. The control of a supply of pressure

For check of a supply of pressure it is necessary to execute the following:
- To check up a safety lock № 18. In case of malfunction to replace;
- To include ignition. The fuel pump should begin work with short-term noise which should be audible. If necessary to bend to a fuel tank, to hear this noise.
If the pump does not work, to spend following works:
- In a luggage carrier to turn away a cover of the gauge of a tank and to disconnect the fuel pump;
- Using fig. 120, to take out a two-port plug socket of the fuel pump. For this purpose by means of a small screw-driver slightly to raise keeping ledges located on each side;

- To connect диодный a sampler or the voltmeter to both external contacts of the tip, as is shown in fig. 120. The electric connector 1 is disconnected from a knot flange топливоподачи. The measuring device should show pressure about 12 V.Esli does not correspond specified, to define and eliminate the breakage reason, using the electric scheme;
- If the device shows 12 In, to take out the gauge from a tank as it is described further;
- To check up connection of wires between a flange and the fuel pump and presence of good contact;
- If breakage is not found out, it is necessary to replace the fuel pump as it is described further.
