The transmission, the main transfer and differential are established in one картере, therefore dismantling of one unit will necessarily lead to dismantling of another. Routine inspection, repair and adjustment demand use of the special tool.

In the car type 085 transmission is used. It established in the previous models Polo, installation of various updatings of a transmission however is possible, therefore at carrying out of all works on a transmission it is necessary to pay attention to its number. It is in a place specified in fig. 150, and consists of a code (for example, CJG), dates of manufacturing (25), month of manufacturing (10) and year of manufacturing (5 – 1995). The detailed information on model to a transmission can be found also on the factory tablet of the car with a designation of model of a product. Transmission number is in a place specified in fig. 151.
