5.6. System of catching of steams of fuel

At change of a temperature mode during car operation in a fuel tank steams of fuel which at normal work of the car get to atmosphere through ventilation system are formed. To avoid these emissions, cars began to equip with system of catching of steams of fuel.
At the stopped or working engine owing to heating of fuel of pair gasoline get through шланговое connection to an absorber. Its arrangement is shown on fig. 110.

During movement the external air which is sucked in by the engine, goes to an absorber. Air grasps steams of the fuel kept by activated coal, and returns them through the channel of exhaust ventilation for burning in the engine. In the exhaust ventilation channel the magnetic valve regulating quantity of the taken away mix is established. The section of opening of the valve is defined by a control system depending on frequency of rotation, loading and the ljambda-gauge information. At full loading the valve, for example, is completely open, and idling is completely closed.
