5.9. System of injection of design Magnetti–Marelli 1 AV (since 1996)

On fig. 124 the injection system is presented. The electronic block of management regulates change of structure of a gas mixture and ignition.
The quantity of injected fuel depends on duration of opening of an atomizer (a transitive phase, injection interruption) that is in turn defined by following parametres:
- Atmospheric pressure;
- Pressure of the storage battery;
- Fluctuations of density of air (the touch gauge of temperature of let in air);
- The information arriving from the ljambda-gauge.
The electronic block of management regulates following functions:
- On the basis of the analysis of the data received from the gauge of a detonation, the structure of a gas mixture and the ignition moment change to prevent temperature substantial increase in каталитическом neutralizer;
- Return of steams being in an absorber to admission system;
- Advancing of ignition and giving of additional air at inclusion of the central air of air established in the car;
- Work of the warning light alarm system of system of diagnostics;
- Protection against excess of as much as possible admissible frequency of rotation of the engine at mix spontaneous ignition;
- Tachometre work;
- Injection switching-off (and again inclusion) at frequency of rotation approximately 1400 mines-1;
- Adjustment of a servomotor of idling in a start-up and idling mode.
Established on the case of a flywheel the gauge of frequency of rotation of the engine and position ВМТ was already mentioned. One more gauge is used for pressure definition in the engine. During inclusion of ignition and till the moment of inclusion of a starter the gauge fixes atmospheric pressure. It means that the gauge in an engine operating time can give the electronic block of management the information on a difference between atmospheric pressure and pressure in an inlet collector. On the gauge pressure 5 moves In, and on its exit the secondary pressure proportional to pressure is formed.
The information is used for definition of position of idling (the accelerator pedal is released) and position of the maximum giving of fuel (the pedal is squeezed out against the stop). In such a way there is a management of acceleration, braking and injection switching-off.
Idling is regulated by an idling servomotor. It is in the case throttle заслонки and regulates air giving at passage of let in air through заслонку, thereby carrying out giving of additional quantity of air at the cold engine. Idling is regulated according to loading on the engine and temperature of a cooling liquid.
The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid is in cooling system, and the gauge of temperature of inlet air — in the channel всасывания air.
