2.3.7. Replacement of a cuff of a camshaft

Replacement of a cuff of a camshaft can be spent at the established engine.

The cuff is behind a gear pulley. For its dismantle it is necessary to use the special tool 2085. Otherwise выпрессовывать a cuff it is possible by means of a hook.

For dismantle of a cuff of a camshaft it is necessary to execute following operations:

- To weaken fastening of the tension adaptation for поликлинового a belt and to remove a belt;

- To dismantle демпфер;

- To disconnect top and bottom safety guards from an engine end face;

- To turn a cranked shaft until the piston of the first cylinder will not rise in ВМТ. Thus to use a label of the moment of ignition;

- To weaken the tension adaptation of a gear belt and to remove a belt, considering the recommendations specified in подразд. 2.7.1. It is possible to fix a belt in appropriate way that it could not slide off pulleys. But a belt not to pull together, as differently it is deformed. Now the cranked shaft cannot be turned, as one of pistons is in ВМТ;

- To block in appropriate way a pulley of a camshaft and to turn away a pulley bolt. To remove a bolt and a washer;

- To remove a camshaft pulley;

- To take out with the help пассатижей segment шпонку from a camshaft;

- To remove from a head of the block of cylinders being for a pulley of a camshaft a cover;

- Using fig. 55, a stripper 2085 to turn out an internal detail And on 2 turns (about 3 mm) from a covering detail and to block it in the given position by means of the handle of Century

For cuff replacement it is necessary to make the following:

- To oil a carving head of the tool, to enter it, passing along a shaft, in a cuff and запрессовать inside a rubber hammer. The handle should adjoin, as is shown in fig. 56, to a console left-hand side;

- To screw as it is possible further in a cuff a stripper by simultaneous pressing on sliping ratchet муфту;

- To weaken the screw with a notch In (rice 55 and fig. 56 see) and to rotate an internal detail in a direction of a camshaft to a cuff exit;

- To clamp the tool in a vice and to take out a cuff.

To grease a working edge and a console part of a new cuff with oil. For installation of a new cuff to use the plug of suitable diameter, a long bolt and a large washer (the bolt should correspond to diameter of a bolt for a camshaft pulley). The plug should be established completely on external diameter of a cuff. To establish a cuff and the plug, as is shown in fig. 57, and to tighten a bolt until the cuff will not rise заподлицо with a cover. If the plug near at hand is not present, a cuff it is possible запрессовать blows through small beards while it will not rise заподлицо with a cover. A cuff запрессовывать not completely as differently it can block маслосливное an aperture. At use of last way it is necessary to consider danger of damage.
