2.7. A drive газораспределительного the mechanism
The camshaft located from above is put in action by means of the gear belt established on gear pulleys of a camshaft, to a pulley of a cranked shaft and the water pump. Mechanism details timing
are shown on fig. 25
. Apparently from drawing, the gear belt is completely closed. The one to whom engines of old models Polo are familiar, knows that the tension of a gear belt was regulated by displacement of the water pump. Now the gear belt has received the own tension device.

Installation of a gear cranked shaft is necessary for carrying out as follows:
- For pulley fixing in a trailer neck of a cranked shaft there is шпоночная a flute;
- On an inside of a distributive gear wheel is шпонка. If the belt is not damaged, term of its service of 100 000 km.
The belt should be regulated at its removal or replacement. If the dismantled belt is planned for using again it should not contact to plastic lubricant and oil.
The belt cannot be bent, as on it there will be breaks.
