8.5.2. Differential assemblage

Differential assemblage is spent in return sequence. Nevertheless at assemblage it is necessary to pay special attention on the following:
- It is necessary to insert both gear wheels of a semiaxis and to establish a plastic separator;

- In case of need replacements of nuts for bolts of fastening of shaft with flanges (for example, at the broken carving) old nuts выпрессовываются outside or are beaten out, and new nuts запрессовываются from within. It is obligatory to watch that nuts completely adjoined on all circle to a landing surface (see fig. 205);
- To insert both shaft with flanges into semiaxial gear wheels. To enter into an aperture one conic satellite and to develop it on 180 . Then to insert the second conic satellite so that it it was established opposite to the first. To centre conic satellites by means of an aperture for an axis of satellites and запрессовать an axis. To fix an axis both pins if those are used. All details carefully to grease трансмиссионным with oil.
At installation напрессованной in a hot condition of a conducted gear wheel to operate as follows:
- Before installation of a conducted gear wheel carefully to clear a surface of a box of differential a metal brush (but without наждачной skins) and to grease with its hermetic VW — AMV 185 100 01;
- To heat up a gear wheel (this time to 150 ) and quickly запрессовать the differential case in a gear wheel. On fig. 206 it is shown, how the gear wheel is established.

The arrow specifies on скос a driving wheel, бурт is on the bottom party. After запрессовки not to unload a press within one-two minutes while details will not cool down. Запрессовку to carry out as soon as possible. For temperature check it is obligatory to use the thermometer;
- At fastening of a gear wheel by rivets it is necessary to get new special bolts. To establish a gear wheel on a box of differential and to fix its bolts, washers and nuts;
- To clamp differential in a vice and to tighten bolts and nuts serially cross-wise the moment 70 Нм;
- The drive of a speedometer and the differential bearing can be established together with the help of blows or напрессовкой. The differential box in both cases should have a reliable support.

The note
It is possible to replace a conducted gear wheel without replacement of a conducted shaft of a transmission. The gear wheel should have the same quantity of teeths.
