12.5.1. Replacement of spherical support

Before to pass to replacement of the spherical hinge, it is necessary for checking up carefully (see подразд. 12.5.4).
At work on hinge replacement it is necessary to turn away a power shaft nut. As the weight of the car should not have on the loose bearing of a wheel a nut it is necessary to turn on after car installation on support.
For hinge replacement it is necessary to execute following operations:
- To weaken nuts of a wheel and to raise the car;
- To weaken a 12-faced nut of a shaft of a drive and to separate a shaft from a wheel nave (section 8 see);
- To disconnect bolts of fastening of a flange of a shaft of a drive from a transmission and to take out a shaft;
- To mark initial position of heads of three 262 bolts specified in fig. and to turn out bolts;

- To turn outside a wheel nave together with absorber a rack and to fix them in such position by means of wooden бруска, as is shown in fig. 272;

- To turn on in the bottom part a nut from a bolt with a spherical head until the nut end face will rise заподлицо with the end of a bolt with a spherical head;
- To bring подкатной a jack under lateral aspect картера the main transfer and slightly to raise it. The jack perceives the loadings appearing after отворачивания of a bolt with a spherical head;
- To establish a stripper of bolts of spherical support how it is shown on fig. 273, and to squeeze out a bolt from a landing place in a rotary fist. The nut unscrewed up to the end protects thus a bolt.

On the spherical hinge two labels will be visible. On the spherical hinge intended for a left-hand side, forward should specify the marksman with designation L3 (fig. 274), on the spherical hinge for the right party the arrow designated as R4 forward should specify. The right hinge has marks L4 and R3.

At installation of the new spherical hinge to execute the following:
- To insert the spherical hinge into a rotary fist;
- To screw a new nut and to tighten it. Thus it is necessary to pay attention to the following. As between the spherical hinge and a rotary fist it is impossible to establish a face head with динамометрическим a wrench the nut should be tightened накидным a wrench till the moment 35 Нм. The inhaling moment is necessary is defined approximately. Besides, the bolt with a spherical head can be turned simultaneously. For its deduction the key with internal шестигранником is used (5 mm) to insert it into a hinge bolt, however, not simply, as the bent end of too big length. Thus, the key with internal шестигранником should be truncated, that it approached for use;
- To clean wooden брусок and pressing to establish амортизаторную a rack in correct position. To enter thus полуось into gearing with a nave of a wheel and simultaneously to join it with a transmission flange;
- To screw three 262 bolts specified in fig. and to tighten them by hand. Then to displace the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket until the marked heads of bolts will not take again former places. To tighten bolts in this position by the moment 35 Нм;
- To deduce a power shaft on an inside in demanded position and to tighten its bolts the moment 45 Нм;
- To tighten as directed in section 8 a nut and to lower the car on the earth. To tighten nuts of wheels the moment 110 Нм.
