1.7. Lubricants, hermetics

Each manufacturer of cars recommends certain lubricants for use. Therefore at carrying out of repair work it is necessary to apply lubricants, hermetics, etc., recommended by firm Volkswagen.

In a management means Loctite is often mentioned. In this case it is a question about анаэробном hermetic for a carving which prevents easing of the tightened connections. Though in the text the name Loctite is used only, it is possible to apply and other similar means.

The same concerns and plastic lubricants and oils.

For example, special plastic greasing is required for greasing of hinges of equal angular speeds (SHRUS) of shaft of a drive of forward wheels. For greasing of details of brake system it is necessary to use only such plastic lubricants which do not lead to corrosion.
