8.6.1. Removal and installation of the mechanism of a gear change

Despite the fact that what completely to dismantle the gear change mechanism it is necessary extremely seldom, the description of this process is more low given. For this purpose it is necessary to execute following operations:

- выпрессовать a cuff of the lever of a gear change from a frame of the central console;

- To disconnect the handle of the lever of a gear change from the lever and to remove it together with a cuff. For this purpose it is necessary to break the spring clip 1 specified in fig. 211;

- Using fig. 211, to turn on both nuts 2 specified by arrows located between the console and the case of the lever of a gear change;

- To take out the ljambda-gauge from a forward exhaust pipe, and a pipe completely to disconnect and take out. In detail about it the section System of release of the fulfilled gases see;

- To disconnect the forward panel of thermal isolation;

- To disconnect the forward cross-section beam located under system of release of fulfilled gases (ОГ);

- To disconnect the back cross-section beam located under a back part of system of release ОГ;

- Slowly to lower an exhaust pipe and to fix its wire;

- To weaken 212 connecting bolt specified in fig. and to disconnect a finger of a gear change from draught of the lever of a gear change;

- Having wrung out from a transmission a cable (fig. 213), being between the lever of a gear change and a transmission on the transmission party to liberate it from knot of the fastening specified by an arrow. For this purpose to compress both overlays;

- To disconnect the case of the lever of a gear change from the bottom party of a body (four nuts);

- To lower the case of the lever of a gear change together with draught of the lever downwards, to spend them over a transmission and then to take out. On fig. by 214 arrows 1 and 2 both these operations are shown. Mechanism installation is spent to sequences, return to removal. Draught of the lever of a gear change is necessary for regulating how it is described in following section. Besides at installation it is necessary to consider the following;

- To get draught of the lever of a gear change in tightening скобу, a few having shifted inside a transmission shaft;

- To fix a cable which is passing between the mechanism of a gear change and a transmission, on a beam and to press it to fastening knot on a transmission (fig. 213 see);

- To attach bolts a back cross-section beam with a back part of system of release ОГ and the metal panel of thermal isolation;

- To establish the forward metal panel of thermal isolation and a forward exhaust pipe. Again to establish the ljambda-gauge. To tighten bolts of a forward cross-section beam under an exhaust pipe;

- To turn out a cuff how it is shown on fig. 215, and to insert the handle of the lever of a gear change into a cuff after an arrow direction. To establish the fixing plug and to enter it into gearing. To pull the handle of the lever of a gear change and a cuff over a lever emphasis;

- To fix the handle of the lever of a gear change by means of a new spring clip;

- To fix the case of the lever of a gear change bolts on a body the moment 25 Нм.
