9.3. Replacement of protective covers




Fastening of covers
Before to replace a cover, it is necessary to familiarise with its fastening.

For fastening of collars of covers in firm Volkswagen workshops the special clutch shown on fig. 227 is used. If such device is not present, it is necessary to take advantage of something similar. The device reminding pincers, grasps both ends of a tape in V.Zavorachivaja's zone a clutch And динамометрическим a wrench, to tighten a tape before achievement of the moment 25 Нм.
