7.3. Coupling installation

Coupling installation is spent to sequences, return to dismantle. The special attention is necessary for turning on the following:

- If former coupling is established, it is necessary to verify position of the marks noted at dismantle. Thanks to it coupling and flywheel balancing remains. New coupling is possible крепить bolts in any way as its static balancing is already executed at manufacturing;

- Aligning оправка it is applied to a centering of a leading disk. This оправка should enter into gearing of a leading disk and to have a pin approaching on the sizes for calling in the bearing of a cranked shaft (fig. 139). It is possible to use an old shaft of a transmission also. Skilled mechanics can centre a leading disk and "by eye";

- To tighten bolts of fastening of coupling in regular intervals cross-wise till the moment 20 Нм. To use only special bolts. Thus again it is necessary to fix a flywheel. Service centre Volkswagen use for this purpose 139 tool presented on fig. intended for latching of a gear wreath of a flywheel;

- To establish the engine or a transmission (see corresponding подразд.).
