6.5. Installation of the moment of ignition

The control of the moment of ignition can be spent only in the event that the memory does not register any malfunctions. Ignition is supervised at engine work idling. All vacuum hoses should be attached to unions. Демпфер has label Z (fig. 131) the ignition moment. The label on a belt pulley at correct adjustment should be before this label.

For installation of the moment of ignition it is necessary:
- To inspect frequency of rotation of idling. If to achieve faultless idling it is not possible to supervise the ignition moment it is not meaningful. The ignition moment is necessary for checking, and if necessary and to adjust, if the distributor was dismantled or replaced. If idling is unsatisfactory, then there is a possibility to start up the engine to reach to automobile repair shop where will adjust idling;

- To connect a stroboscope according to instructions of the manufacturer (fig. 132). The used device should approach necessarily for electronic system of ignition;
- At engine work idling to direct a lamp beam on ременный a pulley of a cranked shaft and to check up, whether there is an ignition moment on one line from well-aimed adjustment of ignition. At all engines the ignition moment should settle down in the range of 2–7 . An initial condition thus is the heated-up engine to working temperature (temperature of oil not less than 80 );
- If installation of the moment of ignition is in the specified interval in installation of the moment of ignition there is no necessity. The given values designate position in degrees in relation to the top dead point;
- If without installation of the moment of ignition not to manage, it is necessary to weaken bolts of fastening of the distributor and to develop it. Thus it will be quickly possible to establish, in what direction the label of the moment of ignition "departures". At new installation of the moment of ignition it is necessary to aspire always to deducing adjustment to 5 to ВМТ. The deviation 1 is, however, admissible;
- Again hardly to tighten bolts and once again to check up the ignition moment;
- To disconnect a stroboscope and to fix in clips a wire.
After carrying out of installation of the moment of ignition by the described way to establish the frequency of rotation equal of 3000 mines-1. At such frequency of rotation the ignition moment should leave forward on a quantity of degrees. Exact values look as follows:
- Engine ADX — 33–39 to ВМТ;
- Engine AEA — 30–36 ;
- Engine AEV — 39–45 .
New engines of manufacture since 1996 correspond to the data for engine AEA. If it not so it is necessary to address on HUNDRED.
