2.1.2. Engine and transmission installation

Engine installation is spent in return sequence, taking into account the following:
- Before connection of the engine and a transmission to check up a condition of the bearing of deenergizing of coupling and if necessary to replace it. Slightly to cover the bearing of deenergizing of coupling and шлицы a shaft of coupling with graphite greasing;
- To be convinced that aligning plugs are established in the block of cylinders. If it is necessary, easy blows to drown the plug in the block before to connect a transmission to a flange;
- At installation of the power unit in a motor compartment to watch that the transmission has entered inside, without concerning drive shaft;
- To check up correctness of installation of support of the engine and a transmission, for what slightly to shake the power unit here and there to provide its free installation. If necessary to weaken fastening of support from outside bodies and then again to tighten. At an inhaling of support of the engine and a transmission to follow fig. 21 and 22;

- At fastening балансирной transmission suspension brackets to use fig. 23. Blow to enter a bolt 1 in the specified direction and to screw a nut. To screw three nuts 2 from below. In basic knot there is a plug which at a tightening of nuts will be turned, therefore it is necessary to keep motionlessly a bolt head at a tightening of a nut the moment 50 Нм. Other three nuts on cars of release till the end of 1995 to tighten the moment 25 Нм, release since 1996 — the moment 35 Нм;

- Again to connect to a transmission drive shaft. For a tightening of fastening of shaft it is obligatory to use a special key not to admit damage of heads of bolts. From reasons of safety it is necessary to put the car on wheels. Bolts to tighten with effort 45 Нм;
- Again to connect draughts of management. A directing bolt with the pointed end (it is noted by an arrow on fig. 19) it is necessary to replace always. As it is processed by special greasing, it is necessary to clear carefully a carving in a finger;

- Again to fix a cable of a drive of management of coupling (the section "Coupling" see);
- If in the car the steering amplifier is established, to establish the pump of the amplifier and to pull приводной a belt;
- To establish in return sequence the holder of the lock of a cowl (fig. 16 see). Thus to pay attention to that all connections and any wire have been restored did not remain not connected. At bumper installation to use fig. 17;

- If in the car there is air conditioner, to establish its arm and all dismantled details, as shown fig. 14. To establish and pull приводной a belt;
- To fill cooling system;
- To check up and if necessary to adjust a drive throttle заслонки;
- To check up and if necessary to adjust the ignition moment;
- To fill the engine and a transmission with oil;
- To start up the engine, to warm up it to normal working temperature and to check up tightness of all places of connections in cooling and greasing systems.
It is necessary to observe following moments of an inhaling, Нм:
- The engine/transmission, М10        45
- The engine/transmission, М12       80
- Starter/transmission       20
- Final pipe / a reception pipe of the muffler       40
- Finger of management/draught of management        25
- The forward engine mount        see fig. 21
