14.2.2. Support repairBefore carrying out of any works on support repair it is necessary to pay attention to the following:
- It is necessary to replace always sealing rings at repair. They are in the repair complete set;
- Never to use pistons or the cylinders which working surfaces are worn out, covered by scratches or were oxidised. Them it is necessary to establish always the cylinder in the complete set;
- To use only that brake liquid which is recommended the manufacturer, and never to use a liquid, stored long time;
- At installation to grease pistons and sealing rings (cuff) with a pure brake liquid;
- To clamp the cylinder in a vice and to remove from it a screw-driver a dustproof ring and the piston;

- To establish wooden брусок in front of the piston and compressed air to squeeze out the piston from an aperture. Wooden брусок to establish according to fig. 294. Compressed air is brought in a place specified by an arrow;

- By means of a screw-driver cautiously to take out a sealing ring from an aperture in the cylinder, as is shown in fig. 295;
- Carefully to clear all details and if the cylinder is in a good condition, to use details of the repair complete set at assemblage;
- To establish in a flute the new sealing ring greased with a brake liquid;
- To establish a dustproof ring an external working edge on the piston and to grease a surface of the piston with a brake liquid;

- To establish the piston in the cylinder and by means of a screw-driver, as is shown in fig. 296, cautiously to get an internal working edge of a dustproof ring in a cylinder flute;
- To establish a clamp, as is shown in fig. 297, and slowly to move the piston into a carving aperture
