14.6. Prorolling of a hydrodrive of brake system

Prorolling of a hydrodrive of brake system is necessary for air removal if in any place there was a depressurization of pipelines or air has got to system at repair. Air removal is spent by identical way in cars with ABS or without it.

Work is recommended to be spent with the assistant. Before air removal it is necessary to remove a dirt with прокачных unions and a stopper of a bulk aperture of a tank.

If works were spent only on one back brake cylinder or on one support, that, probably, will pump over only this contour of a brake drive — ahead at the left and behind on the right or ahead on the right and behind at the left enough. Otherwise prorolling can be begun either on back, or on forward wheels, such sequence however is recommended: the right back, left back, right forward and left forward.

For prorolling of a hydrodrive of brake system it is necessary to execute following operations:

- To put on the corresponding union of prorolling after removal of a dustproof cap one end of a transparent plastic hose. Other end of a hose to lower in the capacity filled with partially brake liquid;

- To instruct the assistant to press a brake pedal against the stop. To turn away the union on a half-turn when the pedal will be in extreme forward position. To observe of an exit from a liquid hose. To wrap the union;

- To repeat operation some times. The termination of an exit of vials of air means that air in a hydrodrive is not present more. While the assistant will keep a pedal by last pressing in extreme forward position, it is necessary to screw up the union against the stop. The assistant should release slowly a pedal to a reset;

- To spend the same works in the specified sequence on other cylinders.

Thus level of a brake liquid in a tank is necessary for supervising constantly that was not подсоса air in a hydrodrive. The liquid which has been rolled away from a hydrodrive, never it is impossible to fill in again in a tank. Not to use also a liquid which was long time in open capacity.
