14.5. The amplifier of a brake drive

It is not necessary to spend independent repair of the amplifier of a brake drive, as the special tool is necessary for its dismantling and assemblage. Refusal of the amplifier of a brake drive does not mean loss of function of braking, the effort will increase only, which it is necessary to render on a brake pedal to keep the same brake way. Serviceability of the amplifier can be checked up as follows:

- At the idle engine to press a brake pedal some times against the stop while in system the lowered pressure will not be eliminated;

- To press not strongly a pedal of a brake and to start up the engine;

- At reliable work of the amplifier the brake pedal falls.
