12.1.1. Removal

For removal absorber the following is necessary to execute racks:

- To weaken wheel bolts and a semiaxis nut on the car standing on the earth;

- To establish reliable support and to remove a wheel. In need of dismantling of a rotary fist to turn away a 12-faced nut of a semiaxis by means of a corresponding face head;

- To turn on скобу the disk wheel brake mechanism and to fix its wire in a suitable place, without disconnecting скобу from a hose. Скобу it is impossible to leave in no event hanging on a brake hose;

- To turn away a self-stopped nut of the hinge of cross-section steering draught and to take out a bolt of the spherical hinge by means of a stripper as it is shown on fig. 237;

- To turn away bolts of fastening of a flange of a power shaft on an inside. It is obligatory to use for this purpose corresponding face head, otherwise it is possible to damage heads of bolts;

- To disconnect a wire of the gauge of frequency of rotation of a wheel of antiblocking system (ABS). For protection of the gauge of frequency of rotation of a wheel against damage is better to disconnect it from a rotary fist;

- To turn on on an inside of the bottom cross-section lever of a suspension bracket a bolt established sideways on the forward party of a support. This bolt will screw in a carving aperture on an inside of a cross-section beam of a suspension bracket;

- To turn on on an underside of the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket the bolt inserted from below. It is screwed in located on a body колпачковую a nut;

- In the bottom part of the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket to remove a nut of draught of the stabilizer of cross-section stability. For this purpose to turn away a nut, to remove a plate from sheet metal and a rubber support. To remember, as both details have been established. To take out upwards connecting draught from connection;

- Fastening absorber racks is visible in подкапотном space. It is necessary to turn away a nut which is in the middle of a cap of an amortisation rack. But as the piston rod thus can be turned also it should be fixed. In service centres Volkswagen to this purpose apply a special key 3186 (fig. 258) but to turn away a nut, it is possible to use a face key with internal шестигранником and накидной a wrench. The amortizatornaja rack is thus released and can fall downwards;

- To lower downwards амортизаторную a rack and to take out the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket from a stretcher;

- To remove a plate from the top party.
