11.1.1. Removal

As well as at a steering without the hydraulic booster, it is necessary to lower a stretcher to remove the steering mechanism. At removal it is necessary to execute following operations:

- To perform works which are described in подразд. 10.1.1 on removal of a steering before removal of the contact screw of an intermediate shaft through an aperture in space for feet and car installation on supports inclusive. Also to disconnect from both parties cross-section steering draughts (fig. 237 see);

- To press a tube going from a tank with a liquid, by means of a corresponding clip or to merge a liquid from a tank by means of a syringe;

- To disconnect on one party a wire of the ljambda-gauge from fastening knot;

- To disconnect an exhaust pipe from a final collector (fig. 238 see) and to disconnect a cable of the mechanism of a gear change from a transmission and fastening knot (the section "Transmission" see);

- To disconnect highways in junctions with the steering mechanism. At separation of one connection the face insert or накидной a wrench on 19 mm is required. To a place of other connection access is very complicated. The way of fastening is presented on fig. 250. The necessary tool is made by firm Hazet at number 4550. To muffle carving apertures in the steering mechanism. To disconnect from collars of fastening of a tube/highway;

- To turn on from below bolts of fastening of the mechanism of a steering;

- To disconnect from a transmission балансирную a suspension bracket (to turn away a bolt and a nut);

- To establish under a stretcher an automobile jack and to turn away bolts of fastening of a stretcher;

- Slowly to lower a stretcher until when the steering mechanism in a junction with карданным the hinge can be disconnected from a gear wheel and to take out sideways. Thus not to suppose перекашивания шлицевого gear wheel connection.

Installation of the mechanism of a steering is spent to sequences, return to removal. To tighten bolts of fastening of the mechanism of a steering the moment 30 Нм. To Pay attention to that the assembly collar has been reliably planted in the rubber plug. Recommendations about installation of a steering without the amplifier extend and for works with a steering with the amplifier. The inhaling moments are specified in fig. 249. Upon termination of works to fill system with a liquid and to check up corners of installation of forward wheels.
