11.5. Replacement of a belt of the pump of the amplifier of a steering

The tension of a belt of the pump of the amplifier of a steering is supported automatically by means of a tension roller. If the belt is necessary for removing, and then to establish again, it is necessary to mark a direction of its rotation with a felt-tip pen on belt lateral aspect.

For removal it is necessary to dismantle a protective casing of a belt and to establish накидной a wrench as it is specified in fig. 254. To turn a key in a direction specified by an arrow until begins to remove probably a belt.

Installation of a new belt is spent in return sequence. After removal накидного a wrench the belt stretches under the influence of a tension roller.

At belt replacement it is necessary to specify car model to receive the necessary detail.
