At first it is necessary to spend works in car salon. It is necessary to take out a ware box being over pedals. For this purpose to compress both 244 spring clips specified in fig. in an arrow direction, to cast away a ware box downwards and, having submitted back, to take out it. After that to turn on in 235 places specified in fig. bolts of fastening of a guard and to remove it:

- To turn away bolts of fastening of a guard 1 (fig. 236) and to take out it. The universal hinge of an intermediate shaft becomes thus accessible. To turn out from the hinge the bottom contact screw;

- To fix the power unit in the suspended position on the elevating device. In the absence of that it is possible to use an automobile jack;

- To remove decorative caps of wheels, to weaken bolts and to hang out a forward part of the car, having established it on reliable support. To turn away bolts of fastening of wheels and to remove wheels;

- To turn away self-stopped nuts of fastening of spherical hinges of cross-section steering draught and to take out by means of a stripper spherical fingers of a tip of steering draught from a rotary fist, as is shown in fig. 237;

- To remove a wire going to the ljambda-gauge, from fastening;

- To disconnect an exhaust pipe, as is shown in fig. 238;

- To disconnect a cable of the mechanism of a gear change from a transmission and fastening knot on other party (fig. 213 see);

- To disconnect балансирную a transmission suspension bracket;

- To weaken bolts of fastening of the steering mechanism and to turn away them;

- To substitute under a stretcher an automobile jack and to turn away bolts of fastening of a stretcher;

- Slowly to lower a stretcher on a jack. To disconnect the steering mechanism from an intermediate shaft and to take out sideways. Thus check up, that шлицы connection has not jammed (or has not warped). On the steering mechanism consolidation with label TOP (top) is established, it should be considered at installation.
