14.1.2. Adjustment of a lay brake

Adjustment of a lay brake in cars with drum-type brakes is spent by nuts on the end of the lever of inclusion of a lay brake in car salon. The lay brake should be regulated only after replacement of its cables. Adjustment is necessary for spending in a following order:
- To release the lever of a lay brake;

- To displace forward over the lever of a lay brake a decorative top overlay 3 (fig. 310 see) and to lower it downwards. Access to both cables of a lay brake Thus will open;
- To press once against the stop a brake pedal;
- To tighten the lever of a lay brake on four clicks (tooth);

- In regular intervals to tighten the adjusting nuts specified in fig. 287 until begins possible to turn a hand both back wheels (raised over the earth). The adjusting nut is on the bottom party of the lever of a lay brake (fig. 288);
- To release the lever of a lay brake and to check up free rotation of wheels.
