13.1. Removal and installation of a back suspension bracket

On fig. 278 details of a back suspension bracket are presented. It is necessary to consider distinction in the sizes of the established brake drums, on cars with ABS they it is more in the sizes.
For removal of a back suspension bracket it is necessary to execute the following
- To turn on in salon of the car two bolts and to remove a cover from the top knot of fastening of the shock-absorber;
- To uncover a cap absorber racks;

- To disconnect the top party амортизторной racks from a body. Thus, most likely, it is necessary to keep a piston rod in the fixed position when with the help накидного a wrench the nut will turn away. On fig. 279 it is shown how to establish a key used for fixing of a rod of the piston. Nuts completely not to turn on;
- To cast away upwards a cover over the lever of a lay brake. Under it cables of a lay brake will be visible. To turn away a nut on the ends of cables, to take out then cables;
- On cars with ABS to disconnect a wire of the gauge of frequency of rotation of a wheel from a contact socket. It is under a back seat. After that to push a wire through an aperture in the car bottom;
- To weaken nuts of fastening of wheels from both parties;
- To raise a back part of the car and to establish it on support;
- To take out cables from a control lever on the lever of a lay brake. To release cables from fastening elements;
- To disconnect a brake hose from fastening knot on the pipeline of a brake drive;
- To establish a jack in the middle of the back bridge and to raise a bridge beam;

- Definitively to turn away a nut from the ends of rods of pistons of both shock-absorbers (амортизаторных racks). After unscrewing of the top nut to remove all elements from the top part of shock-absorbers (fig. 280);
- On cars with a regulator of brake effort to liberate a spring from a clip on the back bridge;
- To remove on the bottom party both nuts of fastening of the shock-absorber (fig. 281). Bolts not to take yet;

- To disconnect system of release ОГ from a body or completely to remove a back part of system;
- To disconnect nuts of bolts of fastening of a beam of the bridge (heads of bolts to fix inside) and cautiously to beat out bolts. To be convinced that the bridge beam is reliably kept by a jack;
- Slowly to lower a beam of the back bridge on a jack and to take out it back. Then to remove shock-absorbers.
Installation of a beam of the back bridge is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following:
- Slowly to lift a beam of the back bridge and to insert simultaneously rods of shock-absorbers into apertures in a luggage carrier, having established on a shock-absorber rod all details earlier removed from it. To establish the top sealing cap 16 (fig. 280), a plate 20 see and a nut 19, having tightened its moment 15 Нм;
- At combination with a body the bridge beam should be in horizontal position (the same as in not loaded condition of the car). It can achieve if to raise the back end of the longitudinal lever of a suspension bracket under a brake drum to an exit in horizontal position. To remember that bolts 13 (fig. 278 see) are inserted from within outside. Their nuts should be tightened the moment 65 Нм;

- At a shock-absorber inhaling below it is necessary, that it was at an angle 95 to a bridge beam, as is shown in fig. 282. To tighten fastening of shock-absorbers only in this position. Nuts to tighten the moment 55 Нм;
- To establish the gauge of frequency of rotation of a wheel and to fix its bolt;
- To connect cables of a lay brake and a brake hose and to adjust a lay brake. To remove air from brake system as it is described in подразд.14.5.6.
