4.3.3. Adjustment and tension removal поликлинового a belt

The poliklinovoj belt stretches the mechanism with the built in spring, therefore to check a belt tension it is not required. To spend a belt tension it is required only in the event that the belt for any reason should be removed.

For a tension various devices are used. One execution is equipped by a tension roller, another — is not present. At dismantle and belt installation for this reason there are distinctions.

For removal поликлинового a belt it is necessary следать the following:

- To dismantle поликлиновой a belt for the steering mechanism with the amplifier, if it is established (see corresponding подразд.);

- To note a direction of rotation of a belt if it is established again. For this purpose a felt-tip pen to put on a belt an arrow specifying a direction of rotation. The direction of rotation of a cranked shaft if to take a detached view a pulley, right (clockwise);

- To turn away 103 bolts of 1 fastening of the generator specified in fig. and 2 fastenings of coupling collars;

- To wring out downwards the generator by means of 103 special tools specified in fig. or an assembly shovel against a spring tension, to weaken a belt tension. On fig. 104 it is shown how to establish on the generator the tool in the collected kind;

- To take away a mudguard downwards and to remove a belt.

Belt immediately to subject дефектовке on presence:

- Cracks or breaks;

- отслоения an integumentary layer or working surfaces of a belt;

- Deterioration of working surfaces;

- The worn out or brilliant edges;

- Oil or greasing traces.

Always it is necessary to replace the damaged belt.

At installation and belt adjustment to operate as follows:

- To establish a belt on pulleys of a cranked shaft and the generator. At installation of a former belt to observe marks of a direction of rotation. Installation against an initial direction of rotation raises deterioration of a belt and even can serve as the reason of its rupture;

- The generator to take away at least three times against the stop downwards to provide ease of its course;

- To wring out downwards the generator by means of the specified special tool and to establish a belt on a generator pulley;

- To start up the engine and to allow to it to work not less than 10 with idling. Thus the belt stretches a spring. Generator bolts remain weakened. If to pull a belt at the dismantled engine it is necessary to turn a cranked shaft not less than on 10 turns also at the weakened bolts of the generator;

- To tighten 103 bolts specified in fig. 1 and 2 moment 25 Нм. To tighten at first a bolt 2, and then a bolt 1. At a tightening of bolts it is impossible to render any pressure upon the generator or to press hands the tense belt;

- To establish and pull a belt of the pump of the amplifier of a steering (the separate section see). To establish a guard and other details.

Both belt drives are presented on fig. 105 and 106. On fig. 107 it is possible to see, how the belt if the pump of the amplifier of a steering is put in action individual клиновым by a belt is established. Here for a tension the special lever is again used to turn a tension roller for a belt tension.

For removal поликлинового a belt it is necessary to execute the following:

- To dismantle клиновой a belt of the pump of the amplifier of a steering;

- To note a rotation direction поликлинового a belt. For this purpose to put a felt-tip pen or a marker an arrow specifying towards a direction of rotation;

- To take away a tension roller by means of lever VW 3299. The lever, as is shown in fig. 107, is inserted into a roller and moves in a direction noted by an arrow. Thus from a belt the tension acts in film;

- To take away a guard of a belt drive downwards and to remove поликлиновой a belt;

- To check up a belt condition in the way described above;

- To establish поликлиновой a belt. For this purpose to lift by means of the lever a tension roller and to establish a belt on a tension roller and a generator pulley. At repeated installation of a former belt it is necessary to observe noted direction of rotation. Then to release a tension roller and to pull a belt;

- To press a guard of a belt drive by means of spring clips.
