17.1. Check of level of a working liquid in a transmission and the main transfer

For the control of level of a liquid in a transmission to warm up the engine and a transmission for what on the car it is necessary to pass about 1,5 km.

During the control of level of a liquid the engine should idle. The control lever an automatic transmission should be in position Р, the car is braked by a lay brake. To take out маслоизмерительный щуп, to wipe its pure rags without pile and again to insert in маслоналивное an aperture. To take out маслоизмерительный щуп, level should be between two labels on щупе (fig. 355). The difference between the top and bottom labels makes 0,4 l.

If the working liquid merged, it is necessary to fill a transmission with a liquid in a following order:

- Using a funnel and a hose in length about 0,5 m, to fill a transmission approximately 3,0 l of liquid ATF. To include the engine and to translate the lever of the selector an automatic transmission serially in each position, to fill channels with a working liquid. After that to translate the lever again in position Р. To brake the car a lay brake and to establish the frequency of rotation corresponding to a mode of idling. Again to check up liquid level as it is described above. Not to pour at all a liquid, otherwise it is possible to damage a transmission. In this case it is necessary to pump out a liquid from a box;

- At liquid replacement in the twisting moment converter remains about 2,1 l and 0,5 l in картере transmissions. The total amount of a liquid necessary for filling of an automatic transmission, makes 5,6 l;

- Oil level in the main transfer is necessary for supervising through 10 000 km. For measurement of level of oil the platen of a drive of a tachometre is taken out. On the bottom party it is possible to see a pin in the form of a ledge on which it is possible to define oil level. After extraction of the platen shown on fig. 356, it is necessary to wipe and insert dry it again. Again to take out the platen and to define oil level. It should be between marks MIN and MAX.

In case of need it is necessary to fill the main transfer synthetic oil G50. The Total amount necessary for filling of the main transfer, makes 0,75 l.
